I Scraped my knee! Please Help Me :( !?

so i scraped my knee on 5/13/11 but the nurse helped clean it up, but then some jean fabric got underneath the bandage nd i think that irritated it since the scrape was still moist.. anyway over the past few days it had some yellowish green booger looking goo over it but that eventually hardened. my dad says that's normal but i don't think so. today it was oozing a orangey yellow fluid that looked like egg yolk! also, it hurts around the scrape. it's very sore. so today when i put the antibiotic on it it moistened again so i wiped it off the green booger stuff and fabric came out but now the area that was covered in the hardened goo is fleshy pink with some red in it ! but the outer edges are still dry and scabby. o.0 should i not have scraped off that boogery gunk ? cause i think that's an obvious sign it's infected ! is it ? and what can i do to help a scab reform ? and also i'm pretty sure this is going to scar so are there any cheap products you know of that fade or reduce the appearance of scars?
