Portland, OR/Metro Area Residents who have been to San Francisco?

Hey Portlanders/MetroAreaers what shops are down near/in san francisco that are not up here or are better/bigger than ours up here? I'm vacationing there next week and need some suggestions. Like clothing shops etc. I know they are famous for their gheridelli right?
